Autarkeia label has been long seeking to release such album. Mainly investigating the world of aggression, fear and nightmares, the label has always been searching for a certain balance to avoid one-sidedness, withdrawal and repetition. And, finally, this is the first album absolutely falling out of the earlier specialisation of Autarkeia, yet equally attractive. Well-known Italian musicians Roberto and Claudia, previously partaking in the activities of Kirlian Kamera, Ataraxia, Lupercalia and Argine, have recorded a number of remarkable tracks, the atmosphere of which is probably best described by words very lucid, yearning and constructed in esp. high quality. In terms of style, this is rhythmic electronics enticing the audience with its variety of ethnic instruments and fabulous voice of Claudia. The album promises very convivial journey to the world of alchemy of the Middle Ages. By celebrating the past, it is also nostalgic for the strange world of the times gone and no longer reachable to us.
