Active since 2005, he constantly furthers the boundaries of his sonic guitar experimentation to create an impressively wide range of dynamic soundscapes by combining textural & structural elements of ambient/electronic, drone/noise, shoegaze/industrial, post-punk/krautrock, black/doom metal throughout his prolific discography of over 30 releases on 20+ different labels worldwide such as Consouling Sounds, Denovali Records, Aurora Borealis, Shelter Press & Alien8 Recordings. thisquietarmy has also collaborated with the likes of Aidan Baker (Nadja), André Foisy (Locrian), Monarch, Noveller, Syndrome (Amenra),Year Of No Light & more. With such a prolific body of work and close to 400 live performances in 30+ countries in North/South America, Europe & Asia, thisquietarmy is a pioneer of the experimental music scene emerging from Canada
