After “Twilight Garden”, Darkwood return with a 7inch entitled “Heart of France” announcing a new album
later this year. The English title track is about an involuntary journey to a foreign land and a great love.
The German B-side “Heimkehr” presents an exclusive track about homecoming and the despair of what
remains. The two songs impress with minimalist instrumentation of acoustic guitar, bass, accordion, and
keyboard and male and female vocals. The 7inch comes with beautiful artwork and black splattered white
vinyl and is limited to 500 copies.
