After “Heart of France”, this second 7inch will be released in August preparing the new Darkwood album
coming later this year. The title track “Maienlied” on a pagan ritual is a typical German neofolk track
Darkwood are known for, the B-side “Broken Flowers” is an English ballad about a few human hours in
a time of inhumanity.
The two songs bring acoustic guitar, bass, accordion, keyboard, and drums and male and female vocals.
The 7inch comes with beautiful artwork and is limited to 500 copies, 300 copies in transparent red vinyl
and 200 copies in black vinyl.
