XIPHOS is a side project of musicians well known from Martial Industrial band H.E.R.R. that now delivers their first album “The Rise And Fall Of Athens”, a song-cycle based on the historian and philosopher Plutarch. Musically it follows the path that H.E.R.R. started with their last opus “XII Caesars”, thus being more atmospheric but not less dynamic and powerful.
