A single consisting of 3 experimental takes on ‚dead sounds.‘ Aql measure takes to his bastardized take on drum and bass to the B side, with the aptly titled ‚Your Faults Lie At The Heart Of Others,‘ a drugged out foot race with sweeping drones and thick guitar feedback competing with a jungle inspired field recorded beat, while an edit of Descents ‚There’s No Point Looking For Survivors‘ adds bleakness to a tale of sorrow to complete a bizarre retrospective of 170bpm party music.
Henry Gillett’s sample heavy monolith ‚Migrant‘ envisages environments of forbidden crypts creating an ancient sound world suited to back an estranged traveler. Slow pulses, vocal chants, hidden chimes and looped drones progress to no sense of completion.
