Originally conceived for another label that unfortunately could not go ahead with its release, the album catches Sion doing something different to his usual melding of avant-rock\/pop and abstract electronics&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>These 14 new electroacoustic compositions delve into the intricate relationship between discord and disorder through innovative sonic exploration. Utilising a diverse palette of sound sources including radio,<br \/>\ntreated piano, violin, voice, saxophone and percussion, Orgon crafts<br \/>\ncompositions that embody both discord and harmony. Each piece<br \/>\npresents a dynamic landscape characterised by sudden ends and the<br \/>\ndeliberate use of distortion, inviting listeners to navigate the<br \/>\ntensions between duality and unity. The incorporation of rubbed<br \/>\ncymbals and treated trumpet creates an ethereal quality, enhanced by<br \/>\nthe layers of angelic choral voices that rise and fall throughout<br \/>\nthe pieces. The structure of these works allows for a vertical<br \/>\nascent in sound before an abrupt cessation, prompting a meditation<br \/>\non dissonance and its inherent beauty.
