A scientist sits with his head in his hands, still listening for signals
\nthat he hopes will rescue the inhabitants of Earth. Why should the other
\nplanet people care about us?<\/p>\n
Over 30 years ago, I began using the acronym S.E.T.I. as an alternative
\noutlet for my musical projects. Eventually moving into ambient territory
\nwith \u2018Knowledge\u2019, \u2018The Geometry of Night\u2019 and \u2018Sleep Environments for
\nInterplanetary Travel\u2019, amongst numerous titles.<\/p>\n
Back in 1992 I was happy that it stood for the \u2018Search for
\nExtraterrestrial Intelligence\u2019, however it has become clear that, from my
\npoint of view at least, it now represents the \u2018Self Extermination of
\nTerrestrial Inhabitants\u2019.<\/p>\n
These tracks, which were to be performed at 33YLOKI in Berlin, represent
\nan honest and open-hearted state of affairs as I see them. This
\nperformance, not without flaws, was captured live to digital stereo as a
\nway to communicate my presence with you, my friends, despite not being
