Wie in einem Bild von Gustave Courbet (insbesondere “L’Origine du Monde”), in dem bei aller Sinnlichkeit immer auch die Präsenz eines Abgrunds mitschwingt, ist dieses Album ein Manifest für diese Zeit, das gleichzeitig klingt wie aus ihr herausgefallen.
