Under his new power electronics pseudonym “E.P.A.” we find a finely balanced tension between visceral chaos and deliberate nastiness. If all the Shinjuku Thief albums that preceded it suggest the ghostly existence of a dark world, “Black Ice” delivers the map, the accelerator and the searing pain upon arrival.<\/p>\n
