This is the 4th part in the series on religious alternative fanaticism.
In June 1984 Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale a Sikh leader held the compound
of Harmandir Sahib for at least 8 days, before the Indian Army was able to
storm it. During the fighting nearly hundreds of people died, some sources say
that in the aftermath of this event tens of thousands of Sikhs got killed in pogroms all
over India.
The killing and action of Bhindrawale lead directly to the assissination of
Indira Ghandi by his Sikhs bodyguard.
Sikhism stands out of the Hindu religion but however was forced integrated
into the state religion, what was never excepted by the Sikh community. The so called
warrior-sect did continuously strike for an autonomous region.
The way to live and die – during the operation, displayed in the way/words and
